Itinerary Details
Highlights of Cappadocia Tour with lunch will begin at 09:30 with a pick-up from your hotel in Goreme and visit the most visited place in Cappadocia Region: Goreme Open Air Museum. This museum has almost 3 million guests every year and is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will be able to see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in the area such as Apple, Sandal and Tokali Churhes. We will also visit the refectory sections of the museum. The next visit will bein Love Valley Panorama Point in which you will see the most interestingly-shaped fairy chimneys of the area. We will then visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) with the best preserved fairy chimneys in the region. The fairy chimneys in this valley are the best examples in Cappadocia region and they are also called as “mushroom fairy chimneys”. Our guide will give you detailed information about formation of the region and fairy chimneys here. The lunch will be in a small boutique nice restaurant in Avanos.

After lunch, we will see the traditional pottery demonstration which is an art for almost 4000 years. Starting with the Hittites, this art became the most important cultural Heritage of the town and region. The next visit will be to Kaymakli Underground City after driving about 30 minutes and you will see another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cappadocia. After experiencing the life in underground and get information about the system in the underground city, we will drive you to Pigeon Valley to see Uchisar Castle and the valley from a panoramic point.The tour will end around 17:00 and we will drop you off to your hotel.
